MOTHERNODE, LLC PRIVACY STATEMENT

For all Mothernode, LLC. (“Mothernode”) Employees, Subscribers, Subscriber Customers, and Vendors.
Mothernode is committed to protecting the privacy of the user who uses their services. The Mothernode Privacy Statement applies to data collected by Mothernode through the majority of its websites and services, as well as its offline product support services. It does not apply to those Mothernode services and products that do not display or link to this statement or that have their own privacy statements. Mothernode has strict policies to keep your nonpublic information private; however, we may share it with affiliates and third parties that we do business with for the benefit of our organization, and in other ways permitted by law.
Collection of Personal Information
In order to access some Mothernode services, you will be asked to sign in with an e-mail address and password, which we refer to as your credentials. These credentials could be used to access different Mothernode sites and services. By signing in on one Mothernode site or service, you may be automatically signed into other Mothernode sites and services. A unique ID number will be assigned to your credentials which will be used to identify your credentials and associated information. Mothernode will never display your password to you, administrators or ANY Mothernode personnel. If you lose or forget your password the service will re-issue a new password, which you will be able to reassign upon next login.
At some Mothernode sites, we ask you to provide user information, such as your e-mail address, name, contact address or telephone number. For support and development purposes, we may collect information about your session, including the pages you view, the links you click and other actions taken in connection with Mothernode sites and services. We also collect certain standard information that your browser sends to every website you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, access times and referring website addresses.
Mothernode stores the following information in this application.
- Mothernode stores user email accounts and passwords, contact information (including name, title, department, email, phone, fax, mobile), and the location and contents of proprietary information. User accounts may be employees of Mothernode or any of its customers or vendors.
- Mothernode stores specific vendor proprietary information regarding products, services, capabilities, and processes and pricing [with other companies and/or their agents and subcontractors.]
- Mothernode stores information regarding your relationship with us.
- Mothernode customer and contact information and activities pertaining to customers.
- Mothernode proprietary information about operations, products and services including trade secrets.
Use of Your Personal Information
Mothernode uses your user account information to communicate with you and to determine which services you should have access to. We may send certain mandatory service communications such as welcome emails, update announcements, information on technical service issues, and product announcements. Some Mothernode services may send periodic user reminders that are considered part of the service. We may also occasionally send you company emails or promotional mailings to inform you of other products or services available from Mothernode Customers, Vendors and/or Partners.
Mothernode may share your information or data with third parties via integration points you enable or through one of Mothernode’s emails. Mothernode is not responsible or liable for information and data communicated to and managed by third-party applications. Be sure to review privacy policies for all services you connect Mothernode to. Your information may be shared without your consent with other third parties if permitted by law. We do not share your information for any purpose that requires an opt-in or opt-out.
If our relationship ends, we will not share your information with third parties except as the law requires or permits.
Situations where disclosures may be made without your consent include:
- To detect or prevent fraud and other criminal activity.
- In response to a question from a government agency.
- For purposes otherwise permitted or required by law.
- In response to a subpoena or court order.
- In connection with a sale or merger of all or part of our business.
Security of Your Personal Information
Mothernode is committed to protecting the security of user account information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
If a password is used to help protect your accounts and personal information, it is the responsibility of the user to keep your password confidential. Mothernode strongly encourages all users to never share their password with anyone. If users are sharing a computer with other users they should always choose to log out before leaving a site or service to protect access to your information from subsequent users.
We have physical, administrative, and technical safeguards in place to protect your privacy.
- Mothernode will not share account information with third parties; however, such information could be used to communicate important news about our services to the holders of these accounts.
- Mothernode will not share your pricing information with other companies, or vendors.
- Mothernode will not market any vendor products, capabilities or services on its own unless it possesses the same product capabilities and services or there is a specific arrangement to do so.
- All specific vendor proprietary information will be used only by Mothernode and Mothernode will not disclose or resell any information, including company contacts and vendor products, to other companies.
- All information displayed onscreen, including the identity of vendors, companies, projects and product is visible to Mothernode.
Mothernode websites use “cookies” to enable you to sign in to our services and to help personalize online experiences and improve content marketing. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies contain information that can later be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.
Users have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use other interactive features of Mothernode sites and services that depend on cookies.
A copyright is a property right in an original work of authorship. Copyright is recognized in most countries of the world by statutory copyright laws.
Copyright exists in the expression of an idea, but not the idea itself. Copyrightable expressions can take many forms but are usually categorized as literary, musical, dramatic, pantomime and choreography, pictorial, graphic, sculptural, computer programs, motion pictures, and sound recordings.
Procedure for Making Claims of Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes an infringement on Mothernode site, please contact 1 (800) 928-6055.
Rights and Permissions
If you have any questions concerning the usage or licensing of Mothernode copyrighted materials, for example, photographs, artwork, designs, advertisements or other Mothernode materials, please submit your detailed request in writing. Please be sure to include any surrounding copy or text to the Mothernode material.
Mothernode reserves the right to communicate to its customers and website visitors its customer lists by name or by brand, but will not release user or contact information without written consent. Such consent is required for case studies, client referral lists, testimonials, etc. Users may from time to time review Mothernode products on third-party websites. Mothernode reserves the rights to use these reviews on its own website, on partner related sites, social media, and marketing materials, both online and offline
Changes to This Privacy Statement
We will occasionally update this privacy statement to reflect changes in our services and customer feedback. When we post changes to this Statement, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this statement. If there are material changes to this statement or in how Mothernode will use your account information, we will notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes prior to implementing the change or by directly sending you a notification, notifying you via in-app messaging or on our support site within release notes. We encourage you to periodically review this statement to be informed of how Mothernode is protecting your information.
